Frequently asked
Your questions, answered
Who can attend the forum?
The forum is open to investors, project owners, institutions and public administrations, accredited press and protocol guests. Each registers under the matching profile, which determines the documents requested and the matchmaking recommendations received.
How do I register, and what documents are needed?
Registration is completed online in four steps: profile, details, documents, payment. An identity document is required in every case; depending on the profile you will also need a business card, a project presentation, a mission order, a press card or an official invitation.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Orange Money, Moov Money and bank card. The transaction is encrypted and no bank details are retained by the organisers. Participation fees will be published when registration opens.
How does B2B and B2G matchmaking work?
The profile you complete at registration is compared with those of other participants. The compatibility score combines sector match (40%), financial fit (25%), profile complementarity (20%), shared geography (10%) and common availability (5%). You receive your ten highest matches, together with an explanation of what you have in common.
How do I secure a business meeting?
You select a profile, propose three time slots and attach a message. Once a slot is accepted, the system automatically allocates a B2B room at the CICB and blocks the time in both agendas. A reminder is sent 24 hours and then 15 minutes before the meeting.
How many meetings can the forum host?
The system is sized for 400 meetings over the two days, in 15 dedicated rooms. Slots last 30 minutes, with a five-minute turnaround between meetings.
Do I need a visa to enter Mali?
That depends on your nationality. Check the requirements with the Malian embassy or consulate responsible for your country of residence. An official invitation letter is issued by API-Mali to participants whose registration is confirmed.
Does the badge work without an internet connection?
Yes. The digital badge and its QR code are stored on your device and remain readable at CICB checkpoints without a network. Your personal agenda and any documents already downloaded are also available offline.
Can I follow the sessions remotely?
Plenary sessions are streamed live, with the option to submit questions online. A replay of each session is published 24 hours after it ends.
How do I add a project to the portfolio?
Register under the “Project owner” profile, state the sector, stage, funding sought and preferred financing type, then submit your file. Project files are reviewed and approved by API-Mali before publication.
How do I request press accreditation?
The accreditation form is available in the press area. Attach an identity document, your press card and a letter of accreditation from your outlet. A reply is sent by email once the request has been reviewed.
In which languages is the forum held?
The forum and the digital platform operate in French and English. The programme states the language of each session and flags those with interpretation.
